Microsoft: Windows 10 KB5068781 atualização ESU podem falhar com erros 0x800f0922

A Microsoft confirmou que está investigando um bug que faz com que a atualização de segurança estendida do Windows 10 KB5068781 não seja instalada com erros 0x800f0922 em dispositivos com licenciamento corporativo.

KB5068781 é o primeira atualização de segurança estendida do Windows 10 e foi lançado em 11 de novembro como parte de Terça-feira do Patch.

Desde então, alguns usuários empresariais do Windows 10 relataram que a atualização KB5068781 está falhando em instalar em certos dispositivos.

“A atualização parece ter sido instalada com sucesso, mas após reiniciar, ela não se aplica e volta atrás com o erro comum 0x800f0922.”

A Microsoft agora confirmou que está ciente e investigando o problema, afirmando que ele só afeta a ativação de assinaturas do Windows pelo Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

“Alguns dispositivos com Windows 10 inscritos nas Atualizações de Segurança Estendidas (ESU) podem falhar em instalar a atualização de segurança de novembro de 2025 (os KBs de origem listados acima) com erro 0x800f0922 (CBS_E_INSTALLERS_FAILED)”, explica a Microsoft.

“Esse problema é limitado a dispositivos ativados via Ativação de assinaturas do Windows através do Centro de Administração do Microsoft 365.”

Infelizmente, não há prazo estimado para quando uma correção estará disponível e a Microsoft não forneceu nenhuma solução alternativa para resolver esses erros.

Além dos erros de instalação, administradores do Windows em ambientes corporativos relataram [1, 2] que nem todos os dispositivos com Windows 10 aparecem como precisando da nova atualização KB5068781 ESU, mesmo quando estão devidamente licenciados para recebê-la.
