A OpenAI não quer que o ChatGPT permaneça apenas um chatbot para interagir com um grande modelo de linguagem.

A OpenAI já possui o Sora 2, que possui um feed semelhante a uma mídia social para vídeos gerados por IA, mas a OpenAI pode ir além de apenas vídeos.

Como manchado no X, o ChatGPT está testando o suporte para mensagens diretas. Semelhante ao X, parece que você poderá enviar mensagens de texto para outros usuários do GPT.

O pesquisador de IA Tibor tambémfundar referências a”Mensagens diretas” no aplicativo ChatGPT para Android (versão 1.2025.273 beta).

O recurso tem o codinome “Calpico” / “Calpico Rooms”.

Mas o que é particularmente interessante é que as mensagens diretas foram introduzidas pela primeira vez no novo aplicativo Sora 2 para iOS. Anteriormente, pensávamos que os recursos semelhantes às mídias sociais seriam limitados ao Sora 2, mas parece que também está chegando ao ChatGPT.

O código também menciona opções para atualizar seu perfil e imagem de perfil, além de outros recursos, como notificações quando alguém entra ou sai do bate-papo e notificações push quando alguém (ou ChatGPT) envia uma mensagem para você.
