No sábado, 20 de setembro de 2025, um ataque cibernético atingiu um provedor de serviços usado por vários aeroportos europeus, incluindo Bruxelas, Berlim e Londres Heathrow. O incidente causou interrupções significativas, com atrasos e cancelamentos de voos.

A situação também é crítica em Berlim, onde os sistemas defeituosos causaram atrasos significativos nas operações aeroportuárias. As autoridades explicaram que intervenções técnicas já estão em andamento para resolver o problema.

O aeroporto de Berlim também emitiu uma recomendação aos passageiros: aqueles que viajam no dia 20 de setembro devem primeiro confirmar com a companhia aérea se o voo está operando e só seguir para o aeroporto após a confirmação da partida.
